Code of Conduct for Suppliers and Partners

With the Code of Conduct (CoC), INTEGRIS LIMS GmbH communicates its expectations to suppliers and partners. The Code of Conduct serves as an external obligation, bridging the sustainability values and goals of the company with the desired behavior of suppliers and partners. We ask our suppliers and partners to also inform their subcontractors about the Code of Conduct and to strive for its implementation.

1. Preamble

INTEGRIS LIMS GmbH is committed to ecologically and socially responsible corporate governance. We expect the same behavior from all our suppliers and partners. We also require our employees to observe the principles of ecological, social, and ethical behavior and to incorporate them into the corporate culture. Furthermore, we strive to continuously optimize our business practices, products, and services in terms of sustainability and urge our suppliers and partners to contribute in the spirit of a holistic approach.

2. Requirements for Suppliers

For future collaboration, the contracting parties agree on the applicability of the following regulations for a joint code of conduct. This agreement serves as the basis for all future deliveries. The contracting parties commit to fulfilling the principles and requirements of the code of conduct and to support each other in doing so. The supplier commits to present this code of conduct to its subcontractors and to make efforts to contractually obligate them to comply with the listed standards and regulations. This agreement comes into effect upon signature. A violation of this code of conduct may ultimately be grounds for us to terminate the business relationship, including all associated supply contracts.

The code of conduct is based on national laws and regulations such as the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG), to which we are obligated, as well as international agreements such as the UN Civil Pact and the UN Social Pact, the guidelines on children's rights and business conduct, the United Nations guidelines on 'Business and Human Rights', the international labor standards of the International Labour Organization, and the UN Global Compact.

3. Social Responsibility towards People and the Environment

Our suppliers and partners commit to act in accordance with applicable laws and conventions. Compliance includes, among other things, the payment of owed taxes and duties, adherence to competition and antitrust law, the strict prohibition of corruption and money laundering, compliance with the state of the art, obtaining necessary governmental approvals, following export control law, as well as respecting the legal rights of third parties and the points listed below.

Points:

  • Compliance with human rights
  • Prohibition of child labor
  • Fair remuneration
  • Fair working hours
  • Freedom of association
  • Prohibition of discrimination
  • Occupational health and safety

4. Ecological responsibility

The company INTEGRIS LIMS GmbH, located at RĂ€destraße 3a in Dresden, has committed itself within the framework of its own environmental policy to minimize its own CO2 footprint through its actions and business operations. Special emphasis was placed on the ecological balance during the renovation of its own office building in 2020. By combining geothermal energy for hot water preparation and photovoltaics for its own electricity generation, the requirements according to EnEV 100 were even significantly exceeded. In conjunction with hot water preparation, an efficient surface temperature control system is used to climate the office spaces.

In software development, the largest consumers of electricity are the servers and clients. These are primarily used during the day, so the electricity for this comes almost exclusively from the company's own power generation via photovoltaics.

The environmentally conscious idea was completed by converting the company's vehicles to electric vehicles and installing charging stations that are also intended for employee vehicles.

INTEGRIS LIMS GmbH uses its own developed QM system for planning, monitoring, and controlling quality objectives and measures across all company areas. Environmental management is comprehensively recorded and managed through this.

5. Business Relationships

  • Fair competition
The standards of fair business practices, fair advertising, and fair competition must be respected, and the applicable antitrust laws must be applied, which prohibit agreements and other activities that influence prices or conditions in dealings with competitors.
  • Confidentiality/Data protection
We ensure that the trade secrets of our customers and business partners are treated confidentially. We also expect this from our suppliers and partners as well as subcontractors. The supplier must comply with the laws on data protection and information security and the regulatory requirements when collecting, storing, processing, transmitting, and disclosing personal information. This equally includes the information from the collaboration on our software solution iLIMS as well as INTEGRIS ERP.
  • Intellectual property
Rights to intellectual property must be respected; technology and know-how transfer must occur in such a way that intellectual property rights and customer information are protected.
  • Corruption
The highest integrity standards are required in all business activities. Our suppliers and partners ensure compliance with anti-corruption laws for their employees and subcontractors.

Acknowledgment and consent of the supplier/partner By signing the order or contract between INTEGRIS LIMS GmbH and the supplier or partner, the supplier and partner commit to act responsibly and adhere to the listed principles/requirements.
