The Atres Group, one of our most loyal customers, has decided to switch to iLIMS 3.0 at the beginning of the year. Mr. Marcel Mayer, responsible for software and particularly for the LIMS in the Atres management, informed us that he wants to switch the system promptly due to the many advantages and new configuration options. Although the new software is provided free of charge as part of maintenance, it is still a significant effort for our customer to recreate the adjustments made in previous years based on the new technology.
That is why we are pleased that Atres is taking this step, even though Mr. Mayer, as one of the most active LIMS administrators, has utilized the system's capabilities for many individual solutions. Ultimately, this has been the deciding factor for us to further develop ourselves and our product, making iLIMS 3.0 even more flexible than eGECKO and offering a fully integrated ERP solution for contract laboratories with the dashboard, a touch-enabled look & feel, and the now fully integrated inventory management from our partner Integris, which is unique in this scope and in the industry.
In addition to the declaration of intent to switch to iLIMS 3.0, we received the following feedback from Mr. Mayer, which we would like to share and thank him very much for the long-standing constructive and very pleasant cooperation.

"At the beginning of the year 2011/12, we started to introduce iLIMS, which was still called eGECKO-LIMS at that time. In our young company, it is extremely important to have an IT system that can grow with all the requirements that will come in the future. Since I place great value on a user-friendly and flexible system, we chose the still relatively young software from CSS LIMS GmbH in Dresden.
With the various tools from iLIMS, we are now able to continuously adapt our LIMS to the changing requirements and processes without having to purchase the necessary services from CSS LIMS every time. I have personally developed into a reporting specialist and have created or adapted more than 10 individual reports from the offer to the test report to the invoice with the graphic designer. We have now overcome difficulties in implementing the CRM and invoicing. Nevertheless, we are still on the way to a perfect system that comprehensively represents our processes. The advantage of flexible software can only be utilized if sufficient internal resources are available for it.
In day-to-day business, many good ideas have to wait, but even with the current state achieved, we are clearly better off than we were three years ago. In addition to the technical capabilities of the software, the competence of our project manager, Mr. Förster, was also a reason for success. Mr. Förster quickly understood our requirements and, based on his own long-standing experience as a laboratory manager, was always able to present solutions that fit well and were often even better than our own approaches. In the future, we want to focus on the possibilities of process control through workflows and business processes to simplify and standardize recurring tasks as much as possible."
